I love a waga's I haven't met anyone that doesn't, a little bit out of the norm they serve the food when its ready which i really like, no food sitting on the hot plate waiting for the other dishes, as soon as its ready its served.
So you sit down and make your way through the menu, its layer out with good explanation of ingredients but if you haven't eaten this style of food before can be a little daunting as theres a lot to choose from, this is where the staff come in to there own, they are so informed about the food they almost seem excited when you ask for advice. So don't be afraid to ask, give them the basic you want and they will point you in the right direction of dishes you might enjoy.
All of the food is freshly cooked and the kitchens are open so you can see this happening, the choice is massive but you will soon find your favourites, I love the dumplings and the noodle dishes, there are curries and soups also which are also real faves of friends.
The portions are really good so you don't need to order a lot of sides so your main meal can cost anything from 7 to 15 pounds depending on what you have.
My advice - if its your first time go with an open mind and a group if possible this way you will get to see a lot more dishes and maybe have a taster with your friends so you know where your taste sits for next time. Don't be scared to ask, the staff genuinely love using what they have been trained to share with you and there knowledge of the food still impresses me even after my many many visits.
my only bug bear is they don't deliver - if they did I would never get a generic Chinese take out again - it would be wagga's every weekend lol
